Hugo Neu Capital

Hugo Neu Capital is a spin out of Hugo Neu Corporation, a privately owned company which develops, operates, and invests in real estate, recycling, energy, and other cleantech ventures.

Over the past 35 years, Hugo Neu Corporation has developed more than 10 million square feet of industrial property and currently operates 2.4 million square feet of prime warehouse and distribution space on 130 acres at the Kearny Point Industrial Park, Kearny, NJ. Kearny Point is also the site of a growing accelerator/incubator facility to foster startup companies aligned with our mission.

Wendy Kelman Neu, Chief Executive Officer of Hugo Neu Corporation, is a recognized environmental, animal, and social justice activist. She has long been a leader in the recycling industry and has developed businesses that are environmentally and energy efficient.

Hugo Neu Capital builds upon the legacy established by John and Wendy Neu in the areas of recycling, clean technology, emerging technologies, and real estate.

Hugo Neu Capital is privately owned and funded. Our team brings a wealth of experience in startups, finance, and business development with the objective of creating a unique culture of innovation and vision for our stakeholders.

Peter Kelman brings 15+ years of corporate finance and accounting expertise to his role at Hugo Neu Capital. Peter has worked for both Fortune 500 companies and cleantech startups in various accounting and finance roles. He is currently President of Hugo Neu Corporation. Peter is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business having trained as a CPA and CMA.

Dan Gura, PharmD, MPH, brings 18+ years of medical, business development, and startup expertise to his role at Hugo Neu Capital, LLC. Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College, his Master of Public Health degree from the UT Houston Health Science Center, and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy/UT San Antonio Health Science Center. Dan received post-doctoral fellowship training in health economics/epidemiology from Yale University College of Medicine, School of Public Health.
